Radical Cup

The Radical Cup is an amateur racing series for owners of Radical sportscars. Sponsored by Radical North America the Radical Cup series is designed to provide a professional and family friendly weekend environment for both novice and experienced drivers to safely experience the performance of their Radical.

The series is comprised of 12 races within the Southeast U.S. Radicals will compete in three classes (1300cc, 1500cc, other) based on engine displacement. Race weekends will consist of a 90 minute endurance race and two 30 minute sprint races. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each class. Each participant will also be eligible to receive points toward the Radical Cup Championship.

Radical North America will provide track side spare parts and technical support to all participants. Arrive and drive services, private coaching and data analysis will be also available.

The Radical Cup is not a professional or professional feeder series. If you aspire to be a professional paid driver we would be happy to refer you to an appropriate series.

First, the Rookie – to – Racer program is designed for enthusiasts who are new to both Radical and the sport of motor racing. Utilizing a curriculum developed by Stephen Czapiga, the program focuses on private coaching and the use of in-car data acquisition as the primary means of developing driver skill. This program allows each driver to develop at his or her own pace while providing an opportunity to meet and mingle with other Radical owners.

The Track Day program allows seasoned drivers to experience the performance of their Radicals in a controlled environment. Track day programs provide a natural progression for those drivers who began their driving careers in the Rookie-to-Racer program.

The third program, the Radical Cup is an amateur racing series for owners of Radical sportscars. Sponsored by Radical North America the Radical Cup series is designed to provide a professional and family friendly weekend environment that allows experienced drivers to safely enjoy the performance of their Radicals. Each race weekend provides participants a unprecedented 4 hours of total track time!
